How each number is reached

A wallet only gets the calculation its type supports. A personal wallet has no VAT and no income tax — it has a cash position. A company wallet has both.

Sample data. Three periods are shown on purpose: current money is always now, VAT is a closed month, the corporate quarter is still open — so the VAT figure is determinate and the corporate one is an estimate. A personal wallet has no tax calculation: tax on a salary is withheld by the employer, so there is nothing to estimate. Figures exclude VAT withholding (tevkifat), exemptions, the reverse-charge return (2 no.lu KDV) and non-deductible expenses (KKEG). Confirm with your accountant before filing or paying.

What Zeki keeps track of

  • Personal and company wallets

Keep your personal money and each company in its own wallet, with its own currency and tags.

  • Bank accounts and cards

Add your bank accounts and credit cards. Card spending counts as debt, so current money shows what you really have.

  • VAT on every entry

Set the VAT rate on each company entry and say whether the price includes VAT. Each month shows VAT collected minus VAT paid, with credit carried forward.

  • Income tax estimate

See the potential income tax for each company wallet: your corporate rate, Turkish brackets for sole proprietors in lira, or a flat rate you set.

  • Planned entries

Record income and expenses you expect. They are listed apart with their total and never counted in current money or taxes until they happen.

  • Your currency, your language

Each wallet has one currency, and amounts are never converted or mixed. Use Zeki in English or Turkish, in light or dark.

Questions

Is Zeki free?

Yes, while in beta. After the beta, Zeki will have one plan at $49.99 per month with everything included. You don't need a card to sign up.

Does Zeki file my taxes or give tax advice?

No. VAT and income tax figures are estimates based on your entries and the rates you set. They are not a tax return and not tax advice. Confirm with your accountant before filing or paying.

Which taxes does it cover?

VAT and income tax, for company wallets. VAT defaults to 20% and corporate tax to 25%, and you can change both. Sole proprietor wallets in lira use Turkish income tax brackets. Each estimate covers one wallet only.

Can I use different currencies?

Yes. Each wallet has its own currency, so you can keep lira, dollars and euros in separate wallets. Zeki doesn't convert between currencies or add them together.

Is my data safe?

Your data is stored in the EU. Your browser never talks to the database directly: every request goes through our server, which checks your session. Passwords are never stored in plain text, and Zeki never asks for bank logins.

Which languages does Zeki support?

English and Turkish. Zeki starts in your browser's language and you can switch at any time in Settings.

Can I use it for personal finances only?

Yes. A personal wallet tracks income, expenses, bank accounts and cards. VAT and income tax apply to company wallets only.

What doesn't Zeki do?

This version has no bank sync, receipts, e-Fatura, transfers between accounts or wallets, shared wallets, budgets, exports or mobile apps. You add entries yourself in the web app.
